The meeting of the lava and seawater has created particularly wild coasts. Beautiful beaches are spread out in sheltered coves where one sometimes has the surprise to discover an improbable green lagoon. Inside the island you will cross a few small peaceful towns with whitewashed houses. And, should you play golf, it's better to control your ball if you don't want it to end up in the pebbles.
